Another week full of fun adventures at ff! On Wednesday we had a tiger theme for the morning and decided to do tiger face painting and then dance around in the "jungle". Was such a great success filled with giggles and smiles, the children were so excited and absolutely loved it! They say a photo is worth a thousand words so here are some pics to show off our morning... Enjoy!
Thursday we had a cooking activity and iced and decorated sweet buns... Was a great idea to fill up the children with sugar and red icing haha they were nice and hyper after that! Once again was a great success and a treat for the kiddies...
After work some of us volunteers headed off to a Thai cooking class! We learnt how to make Penang Curry and Pad Thai. Was a great learning experience and lots of fun! As a bonus we enjoyed a massive delicious dinner together!
Has been a pretty full on week physically and emotionally, thanks for all your support by emails and by chat back home... It really helps! Looking forward to getting away this weekend with the other volunteers. We are going camping at Kanchanaburi National park to relax and go on some trecks to check out and swim in some waterfalls... Will blog about it when I get back to Pak Kret.
